About Us/Staff

All Around Gymnastics is a family owned and operated business.  Debbie Driskell has been the owner or co-owner of the facility since it was originally built in 1994. All Around Gymnastics  is owned and operated by Debbie Driskell and her daughter, Lindi Polk, who together, plan and produce the many programs that make up All Around Gymnastics.  Collectively, the owner, operators and their advisors have over 25 years experience in the gymnastics industry.

We have developed an exciting and inviting place for children of all ages and abilities to experience gymnastics in a nurturing and caring environment.  Students are exposed to a variety of experiences that develop physical fitness, risk taking skills and self-awareness. These experiences are building blocks for future athletic, academic and personal growth. We strive everyday to create a professional, fun and safe environment for children to learn and experience the joy of physical activity.

Lindi Polk

I graduated from Reinhardt College with a degree in Communications.  I was a cheerleader and competitive gymnast while in school.  I have taught pre-school gymnastics, coached cheerleading, conducted adult group fitness classes and one-on-one personal training.  I enjoyed volunteering with Special Olympics for several years.  I am CPR and First Aid certified through the State of Georgia.  I married my high school sweetie and have 3 wonderful children.  My favorite thing to do is spend quality time with my family.  I enjoy skiing, running and exercising.  As the Director at All Around Gymnastics, I am passionate about helping each child reach their full potential.

Jakob Cravens

I have a background in tumbling and began coaching men’s gymnastics my senior year in high school. Shortly afterwards, I switched over to the women’s side of gymnastics and have been coaching optional level girls ever since. I also work as a coach at Flip Fest Summer Gymnastics Camp each summer. Outside of the gym, I spend a lot of my time in the weight room or in the mountains on my motorcycle.

Stacy Scobel

I started gymnastics when I was 11 years old after seeing the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, which is a lot later than most gymnasts. I made team the next summer and ended up in level 10 in 5 short years. I graduated with a degree in accounting from Georgia College and State University in 2008. I have coached pre-teams through level 8 from 2008 until now. As a coach, I have had gymnasts score a perfect 10.0 on all 4 events, where 3 of those 10.0s happened at the state meet in 2010. I have coached 8 state championship teams and 2 regional championship teams. I am USAG certified, safety certified, CPR trained and hold a CrossFit L1 certificate (I also love CrossFit and lifting weights). I love coaching and developing young children into not just the best athletes they can be, but the best people they can be.

Mattie Yadegavi

Coach Mattie has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to gymnastics and an extremely upbeat personality.  Coach Mattie is originally from Iran and has lived in the USA for the past 5 years.  Mattie has coached gymnastics for the past 30 years.  She is a jack of all trades as she played basketball, volleyball, and ping pong at the collegiate level.  She has also been trained in trampoline, rhythmic gymnastics, and ballet.  In Iran, she was a nationally ranked gymnastics coach and was an international judge in 2005 in Europe, Asia, Africa, China, and Russia.  I am thrilled to welcome Coach Mattie to our All Around Family and to see your girls flourish under her coaching/training.

Abby Satori

My name is Abby Satori. I am a junior at Kennesaw State University working towards my Bachelor’s in psychology. When I was 2 years old I was always upside down, so my parents put me in a mommy and me gymnastics class that led to a life long commitment to gymnastics. I participated in competitive club and high school gymnastics for just over 10 years, as well as competitive cheerleading for 5 years. I began coaching at All Around Gymnastics when the doors opened in 2010, and have loved every minute of it. I am safety certified and a registered coach through AAU. I have coached anywhere from preschool and gym/dance combo classes to tumbling classes and all other recreational classes we offer. The last 2 years I have coached and gone to competitions with the Gym Star program as well as coaching the Rising Stars, and a few advanced classes. This season I will be coaching the Gym Stars once again, as well as the Excel Gold program along with my recreational classes. I look forward to coming to work every week, and I strive to help all of the kiddos be the best that they can be, just as my coaches did for me!

Dawn McFadden

Dawn is the proud mom of three children: Elise, Tucker, and Arden.  All of her kids grew up in the gym and were competitive gymnasts.  Dawn started coaching gymnastics in 1998.  Almost 20 years of coaching, she has coached every level from Level 2 through Level 7 including all levels of Prep Op (now called ECEL). She has had the privilege of having coached multiple state champions in every event in multiple levels. She has even coached a perfect 10.0 routine on beam at AAU Nationals with Demetria Hunte as the gymnast. Demetria has now graduated after being a Georgia Gymdog.
